About SugarBeat eating house

Why are we called SugarBeat eating house?

Our story begins with a love of music, laughter and the beautiful city of Norwich, Norfolk.

Nestled within the boundary of our 400 year old coaching inn, our family-run venue perfectly blends old school charm with a modern flair,

So....

With Norfolk at the heart of it all, we took one of its staple ingredients - Sugarbeet - and gave it a twist!

And what better way to elevate it than by infusing every dish with a bit of fun and a musical beat!

Whether you’re catching up with an old friend, enjoying lunch with a colleague or treating yourself to a 3 course meal with your favourite people, SugarBeat eating house has something for everyone.

Indulge in our generous selection of wines, ales & lagers and let our talented chefs impress you with a mouth-watering selection of light-bites, classic dishes, sharing platters, sizzling BBQ's & our weekly seasonal specials - your taste buds are in for a treat!

We're a team of food lovers

We have a wide range of spaces perfect for hosting special occasions, corporate events and wedding ceremonies of any size. With a combination of indoor & outdoor bars, restaurant, private function room, terrace & marquee we offer the ideal backdrop for creating unforgettable memories.

Want to extend your stay? Our newly renovated accommodation offers super king-sized beds, en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning to ensure your comfort and make your stay truly memorable. Featuring 4 rooms named after music legends - Jackson, Bolton, Vandross and Manilow - your overnight experience is sure to hit all the right notes.

We believe music plays a big part in setting the vibe of any venue, so we’ve carefully created a playlist to suit all ears. And to keep the rhythm going, we host live music events throughout the summer months!

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday of the year (except for Christmas day and Boxing day, we like to give our team time at home with their families!).

First time at this pub. We had a very nice meal sitting outside. Typical pub food menu but what we both chose was tasty and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were glad we went.
